Welcome to the Home Page of wildlife artist Janet Mandel
Whether I am in my studio working from the many reference photos I have taken at zoos and game parks or in my own livingroom sketching and photographing the antics of my own animals, I am always amazed and appreciative of the creatures planet earth has to offer.
My gift in this lifetime is that of an artist, and so for me, the best way to show my appreciation of the animal kingdom that I so much enjoy, is to depict them in the best way I can in my paintings.
